RFB: Financial Plaza Stair Repairs
Sealed bids are sought and invited by the City of Poughkeepsie for Financial Plaza Stair Repairs; RFB-COP-12-12-03, as set forth in the specifications prepared by City of Poughkeepsie Purchasing Department.
Bids will be received by the Board of Contract and Supply, c/o Purchasing Agent, 62 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 on or before 2:30 p.m.,on January 9 , 2013 after which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the third floor Common Council Chambers, with the contract being awarded as soon as practicable thereafter.
This contract consists of repairs to the stairs from the 3rd to the 4th level with and alternate to replace stairs between 1st and 3rd level. All questions must be submitted in writing via fax at 845-451-4101 or email to:[email protected] by close of business (4:00 PM EDT) January 4, 2013.
A Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 3, 2013@ 1:00 PM on site at 41 Civic Center Plaza, Meet at front of parking deck near the stairs. It is strongly recommended that bidders attend this meeting.
Prospective bidders should visit the site and review field conditions prior to submitting a bid.
5% Bid Bond or Certified Check is required.
Specifications and Contract are subject to provisions of Chapter 605, Laws of the State of New York of 1959, Section 103-A of the General Municipal Law and Federal Procurement Regulations 24CFR Part 85.36. Specifications and bid forms are attached hereto.
