Notice of Construction: 2 Fountainbrook Avenue

The City of Poughkeepsie Engineering Department is informing property owners and residents located in the area of 2 Fountainbrook Avenue, and the immediate surrounding area, that Thomas Gleason, Inc. will be working in your area.

Beginning Monday October 7th, 2013 the contractor will be working from 7:00 am to approximately 5:00 pm. Night work may be required, but not anticipated at this time. It will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to complete the work. The City does not anticipate any interruptions to sanitary sewer and water services.

Equipment on-site may include large excavators, dump trucks, haulers and other heavy equipment.  Noise will be kept to a minimum, but the use of a generator and temporary pumps will be required for a portion of the work. Residents may notice discolored tap water due to the contractor’s use of fresh water from local hydrants.  Simply run water for a few minutes to resolve this issue.

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact City of Poughkeepsie Engineering Department at (845) 451-4074.  We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation in carrying out these necessary repairs.
