City Updates Residents After Storm
The City of Poughkeepsie has closed its waterfront parks (Waryas and Kaal Rock Parks) until further notice due to weather related issues. City sanitation and transit services will resume on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
Those seeking a shelter should follow the County LOOP bus system’s B-bus schedule to travel to Beacon High School (101 Matteawan Road, Beacon, NY). This shelter will be opened for at least the rest of today. Please follow the county’s website at www.dutchessny.gov or call the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) for more information throughout the day.

I would also like to express my appreciation to residents for their cooperation.
