CDBG Annual Action Plan
The CDBG Annual Action Plan is comprehensive document detailing the specific activities that will carry out the Consolidated Plan’s priorities and goals. The Annual Action Plan outlines the specific projects the City will undertake using CDBG funds to achieve the objectives in the Consolidated Plan.
City of Poughkeepsie Youth Grant
The purpose of this policy is to govern the disbursement of grant monies to applicants that meet the requirements for participation in a financial assistance program for youth development and instructional activities. Through these guidelines, the City of Poughkeepsie seeks to provide grant funds to assist organizations and structured entities engaged in youth programs. This policy sets forth the criteria used to determine and identify eligible organizations, programs, and activities for which the grant funds will be considered.
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
A Federal grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, CDBG provides funding to non-profit agencies or city projects that benefit low and moderate income residents. Past recipients include day care facilities, homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, sidewalk/street improvements, after school programs, etc.
