PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Common Council of the City of Poughkeepsie, pursuant to Section 2.05 of the City Charter hereby convenes a Special Information Meeting on Monday, March 20, 2017, 6:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall/Municipal Building, 62 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, New York.  All members of the Common Council, the Mayor, City Administrator, and heads of all departments shall be in attendance.  At this meeting, the general public may inquire of any such person with regard to any aspect of City Government.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Common Council of the City of Poughkeepsie will hereby convene a Special Committee of the Whole Meeting on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, Municipal Building/City Hall, 62 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, New York to allow for the common council to discuss and receive an update from the Chief of Police and the Fire Chief, on the suspicious fires in the City of Poughkeepsie. This workshop is open to the public, but there is no public participation period

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the Charter and Codes of the City of Poughkeepsie, Administrative Code, Section 14.04, a Common Council Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 6:00 pm, in the Common Council Chambers, Third Floor, Municipal Building/City Hall, 62 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, New York, for the purpose of receiving comments on the proposed amendments to Chapter 19, Article IV Section 19-4.5, the Historic Preservation Commission Ordinance. The proposed amendments are available at the City Clerk’s Office (Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.), or on the city website below.
