City Mourns Passing of Councilman J. Tracy Hermann
Mayor Rob Rolison said, “It is with a very heavy heart that today the City of Poughkeepsie mourns the sudden loss of Councilman Tracy Hermann.
Tracy was a dedicated public servant whose passion for this city showed through in everything he did and in return he was beloved by the people of Poughkeepsie.
On behalf of the entire City, we send our deepest condolences to his family, his husband Matt and daughter Roxy.
I was proud to serve with and work alongside Tracy, but I was prouder to call him my friend. His presence in our City will be deeply missed.”
Council Chairman Chris Petsas said, “Tracy was the true embodiment of public service. His love for this city was unparalleled and was the driving force behind all he did for Poughkeepsie.
It was an honor to serve with Tracy. He was a true leader whose legacy will live on throughout our city. He will forever be a friend to me and to all whose lives he touched.
My heart breaks for his husband Matt and Daughter Roxy. I ask everyone to please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”
