PRE-MEETING DISCUSSIONS & PRESENTATIONS
Jen Rubbo from the Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Barns and Ingrid Haeckel from the NYS DEC Hudson River Estuary Program will discuss a Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) for the City of Poughkeepsie. Funded through the Hudson River Estuary Program an NRI is a compilation of maps and data focused on natural areas and resources in a municipality. For example the Poughkeepsie NRI will contain information about street trees, vacant lots, green space, water resources, etc. Jen and Ingrid will bring draft maps and discuss how the NRI can be used in city planning.
