I. PRE-MEETING DISCUSSIONS & PRESENTATIONS

Presentation from Michelle Gluck from Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County regarding the Climate Smart Resiliency Planning Tool that was recently completed on behalf of the City. The Climate Smart Resiliency Planning Tool was used to evaluate opportunities for the City of Poughkeepsie to improve resilience to flooding and climate change.

PRE-MEETING DISCUSSIONS & PRESENTATIONS

Jen Rubbo from the Environmental Cooperative will discuss a Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) for the City of Poughkeepsie.  Funded through the Hudson River Estuary Program, an NRI is a compilation of maps and data focused on natural areas and resources in a municipality.  For example the Poughkeepsie NRI will contain information about street trees, vacant lots, green space, water resources, etc.
