The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the maintenance of many aspects of the City's infrastructure including:

  • Care of City owned trees
  • City owned and vacant property
  • City owned vehicles
  • Garbage collection
  • Roadways including snow removal
  • Sewer lines
  • Street lighting
  • Water distribution lines

The DPW Administrative Office handles most incoming calls, logging almost 2,500 service requests from the public each year. These requests for service are directed to any one of the Public Works Divisions or Subdivisions.
