Grievance Day – May 26, 2020

Pursuant to Section 508 & 525 of Real Property Tax Law and Executive Order 202.22, dated April 20, 2020, Notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment Review for the City of Poughkeepsie, County of Dutchess shall hear and determine complaints in relation to assessments on May 26, 2020 between the hours of 3:45pm and 8:00pm by appointment via Virtual Meeting Platform. The Board of Assessment Review will then file a copy of the determination with the City Chamberlain to become a matter of public record.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, property owners who wish to grieve their 2020 Tentative Assessments are strongly encouraged to submit their grievance application (RP-524) and supporting documentation to: City Assessor, 62 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 one week prior to Grievance Day, May 26, 2020.
