Community Development Block Grant COVID (CDBG-CV) 2019 Action Plan Substantial Amendment
On March 27, 2020, President Trump signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The CARES Act made $490,225 available to the City of Poughkeepsie under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV). These funds are to be used to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). This additional funding requires a substantial amendment to the City’s 2019 Annual Action Plan. This amendment available online below outlines the proposed uses of these funds. The City is releasing the proposed plan for a seven (7) day comment period from Thursday, September 10, 2020 to Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
