Budget Hearing on Proposed 2021 Budget – November 9, 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 2.04 of the City Charter, the Common Council of the City of Poughkeepsie will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., and will be held via videoconferencing, (as permitted by the NYS Open Meetings Law).

BUDGET HEARING ON PROPOSED 2021 BUDGET: Monday, November 9, 2020, 6:00 pm.

Common Council Chairperson Salem calls a Budget Hearing for the Common Council to receive the Mayor’s draft proposed 2021 budget with narration for Monday, November 9, 2020, at 6 pm.

During the hearing, the Commissioner of Finance and other relevant parties will present a narrative to their drafted and proposed 2021 budget. Following their presentation, we will offer space for public comment. Each commenter will have up to 5 minutes of time. Members of the public wishing to comment should email [email protected] prior to 5:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2020. When public comments conclude, Councilmembers will have an opportunity to ask questions and raise discussion.
