Historic District and Landmark Preservation Commission Meeting – December 10, 2020
Effective immediately and based upon notices and health advisories issued by Federal, State, and Local officials related to the Coronavirus, the City of Poughkeepsie Historic District and Landmark Preservation Commission (“HDLPC”) will not hold in-person meetings. Until further notice, all future HDLPC meetings (including public hearings) will be held via videoconferencing, as permitted by the NYS Open Meetings Law. Due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend at the remote locations where the commission members will be situated. The public, however, will be able to fully observe the videoconference meeting with the information posted below;

The HDLPC’s agenda is available online below. This meeting includes an open discussion, thus members of the public will be provided the opportunity to give verbal comments during the meeting. Those wishing to speak during the meeting are encouraged to submit notice to Planning Director Quinn at [email protected] by 5 pm on the day of the meeting so that you may be added to the list of speakers.
HISTORIC DISTRICT AND LANDMARK COMMISSION BUSINESS
1) A discussion on strategies to mitigate deterioration and loss of vacant and abandoned local landmark properties. Elected officials and members of the public are invited and encouraged to participate in this discussion.
